Heat Detector with SCI

EV-H2-SCI is an Heat, “Category P” Detector with integral Short Circuit Isolator fully compatible with Evolution analogue addressable systems.
The EV-H2-SCI comes to the market with Category P Heat sensor which can be configured to A1R, A2S, BS or CS.
The integral Short Circuit Isolator is bi-directional and in the event of an external fault will shut down on one side to protect the system, whilst allowing the device to continue communication with the fire alarm control panel from the opposite side. The isolator will self-reset when the fault is cleared.
The Nittan UB-6-SL-EV Base includes a sliding link, to provide loop continuity, when detectors are removed. This is to ensure Call Point operation is not affected by detector removal, in accordance with BS 5839-1, Clause 12.2.2.
