Nittan launched the Sensortec analogue addressable products more than 35 years ago, and to date they have been providing dependable fire protection on many installations globally.

Although now officially flagged as for “Spare Parts Sales Only”, our intention is to maintain supply for all key Sensortec products such as devices for the foreseeable future.
However please note, that as the sales volumes and demand for certain low volume Sensortec products reduces year on year we shall inevitably reach a point where it is no longer commercially viable to continue production. In addition we are also experiencing obsolescence of key electronic components used in several ancillary devices, which means we will no longer be able to manufacture some items, and sales will stop when component stock is depleted.

To meet the requirements and specifications of new installations, we recommend the technically superior Nittan Evolution protocol products. To help with on-site transitions from Sensortec to Evolution protocol, it is possible to easily upgrade an old Sensortec System, by replacing the existing Panel with a Nittan Evolution Panel. This offers the primary benefit of being able to retain most of the existing detector bases, as they are mechanically and electrically compatible, so minimal re-cabling is required. All Addressable Loop devices will need to be replaced with Evolution devices, but this also means the system will now be able to support up to 254 addresses per loop and many other additional features, such as combined Detector/Sounder, Multi I/O Modules and Visual Alarm devices.
