Nittan’s Sensortec analogue addressable range has provided reliable fire protection worldwide for over 35 years. The range is now designated “Spare Parts Sales Only”, with Nittan committed to maintaining supply of key Sensortec devices for the foreseeable future. However, declining demand and the obsolescence of certain electronic components mean that some low-volume products will eventually be discontinued once existing component stock is exhausted. The latest product availability is published on the Sensortec webpage.

For new installations, Nittan recommends the Evolution protocol range, which offers enhanced performance and functionality. Existing Sensortec systems can be upgraded efficiently by replacing the panel with a Nittan Evolution panel, allowing most existing detector bases to be retained due to mechanical and electrical compatibility. While addressable loop devices must be replaced, the upgraded system benefits from increased capacity (up to 254 addresses per loop) and access to advanced features such as combined detector/sounders, multi I/O modules, and visual alarm devices.
